I saw a Suzuki Esteem sedan while out today ( similar to the one pictured ). I can’t remember the last time I saw one of these around. It appeared to actually be in decent shape, too.

I used to see a pen Esteem wagon regularly. It belonged to a cashier at the clostest grocery store. It had actually belonged to a friend of mine and he sold it to her, after it was his car though College. She eventually replaced it with a Kia Soul. Which seems a pen apt replacement.

I’ve seen more of the wagon version than the sedan over the years. There aren’t enough cheap compact wagons around anymore ( or any, to be honest ).

I’d give that honor to the Elantra Touring (2009-2012). They were actually pretty nice, too, as far as economy cars went. I still kind of want one.
